During the Wednesday morning, a funeral ceremony was held for Svenne Hedlund.
The artists Py Bäckman and Robert Wells were a couple of the guests and they also played and sang during the act.
And afterwards, the public also had the opportunity to say goodbye.
Around a hundred visitors showed up during the hour the church was open.
Open farewell
- Svenne's family was very keen that everyone who wanted would have the opportunity to say their own farewell, says funeral contractor Andreas Runeborn.
- I listened to a lot of his music, says Daniel Gustafsson, who traveled from Huskvarna with his father to honor the artist.
Svenne Hedlund lived in Sävsjö with his family for a large part of his life and for many he was a great idol, an important profile in the city, but also someone with whom you liked to exchange a few words.
- We used to talk when we saw each other.
He was like one of us, says Sävsjö resident Carola Sundgren.
