Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the termination on December 20 of the agreement with Ukraine on the mutual recognition of diplomas and academic titles.
“Education diplomas received before the termination of the agreement will be recognized,” the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science told TASS.
The ministry added that citizens in the new subjects of Russia do not need to go through the procedure for additional recognition of education.
In July, it became known that graduates of the Melitopol multidisciplinary college received Russian diplomas for the first time.
