The precise reasons for the breakdown which occurred around 3 p.m. could not be identified by Orange this Tuesday at the end of the afternoon.

The company mentioned the possibility of the rupture of a “very big link”.

A power outage or mechanical interruption could have occurred.

The inhabitants of Sarlat, Carsac-Aillac, Cénac-et-Saint-Julien, Les Eyzies, Mazeyrolles, Saint-Cyprien and Siorac-en-Périgord (Dordogne) found themselves without a landline.

Subscribers covered by the Larzac and Meyrals (Dordogne) antennas were without a mobile network.

Orange has ensured that it will do everything possible to restore the network, but customers have received a message evoking the risk of disruption until Wednesday evening.

France Bleu Périgord nevertheless reports that the service was restored this Tuesday around 11 p.m.
