Lavrov: the collective West, led by the United States, has long declared war on Russia

According to TASS, he said this in an interview with the Big Game program, a fragment of which was shown on Channel One.

“The collective West, led by a nuclear power, the United States, is at war with us.

This war was declared to us a long time ago - after the coup d'état in Ukraine, orchestrated by the United States, took place, ”Lavrov said.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the course of the West, aimed at total containment of Russia, carries the risks of a direct armed clash of nuclear powers.

Moscow has repeatedly reminded that the inadmissibility of nuclear war is Russia's principled position.
