It was on the night of October 2 this year that two women in their 20s reported being chased at a fast food restaurant in the A6 area.
Outside the entrance to the shopping center, two men then grabbed the women, wrestled them down and subjected them to various crimes.
The men are in their 20s and one of them is suspected of two rapes and two cases of sexual molestation.
The other man is also suspected of two cases of sexual harassment and attempted rape.
They are suspected on probable cause.
The men, who have addresses in Jönköping, were arrested on December 20 and remanded in custody three days later.
According to the detention petition, the detainees are in custody with restrictions.
The prosecutor has until January 5 next year to bring charges.
