She also announced the intention of the German side to tighten sanctions against Russia in connection with the situation around Ukraine.
Earlier, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel called the Minsk agreements an attempt to give Ukraine time to "become stronger."
She noted that today's Ukraine militarily is "not what it was in 2014-2015."
After that, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow was "led by the nose" by the peace agreements.
