A student from Vallaskolan was taken to hospital on Monday 12 December with serious injuries after being stabbed at a nearby park between Vallaskolan and Ekebyskolan.
The police were able to quickly identify a suspect who was arrested and taken into custody.
On Wednesday, he was requested to be remanded in custody by Västmanland district court with reference to, among other things, risk of collusion and risk of recidivism.
Released the day before Christmas Eve
The suspected teenage boy was released from custody the day before Christmas Eve, according to Vlt.
But a release should have nothing to do with the fact that the suspicions against the teenage boy have weakened.
- The higher suspicion of attempted murder remains.
But now social services have found another reassuring supervision that is better suited for a 15-year-old than having him sit in custody, says Eva Morén to Vlt.
