During the offensive: the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the destruction of up to 60 Ukrainian soldiers in the Donetsk direction

The Ministry of Defense stated that in the Donetsk direction of the special operation, the Russian military, during a successful offensive, defeated units of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Up to 60 Ukrainian servicemen, three infantry fighting vehicles and seven vehicles were destroyed,” said the official representative of the department, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in the Kupyansk direction, as a result of artillery strikes on enemy manpower and equipment in the area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe settlement of Peschanoe (LPR), up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and three vehicles were destroyed.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, artillery fire hit units of the 11th territorial defense brigade in the area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe settlement of Torskoye (DPR).

During the day, the enemy lost more than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, four armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks in this direction.

In the South-Donetsk direction, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered a complex fire defeat.

During the day, more than 70 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks were destroyed.

Meanwhile, rocket troops and artillery hit the reserve command post of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kramatorsk region (DPR), as well as 67 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 89 districts.

During the counter-battery fight, a firing position was opened and, together with the crew, the US-made M777 artillery system was destroyed, from which shelling of residential areas of Donetsk was carried out.

Another M777 artillery system was hit in the Zaporozhye region.

In addition, a combat vehicle of a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) Uragan, as well as two combat vehicles of the Grad system, were destroyed on the territory of the LPR.

On the territory of the DPR, two Ukrainian self-propelled artillery mounts 2S1 "Gvozdika" were destroyed at firing positions.

Among other things, four Msta-B howitzers and two D-20 howitzers were destroyed in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions and in the DPR.

Air defense systems shot down three Ukrainian drones in a day.

Along with this, two Uragan MLRS rockets were intercepted, as well as three US-made HARM anti-radar missiles.

In total, since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, 352 aircraft, 192 helicopters, more than 2.7 thousand drones, 399 anti-aircraft missile systems, over 7.2 thousand tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 947 MLRS combat vehicles, more than 3.7 thousand field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as over 7.7 thousand units of special military vehicles.

Promotion in the Soledar direction

The commander of the special forces "Akhmat", the deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the People's Militia of the LPR, Apty Alaudinov, reported on the advance in the Soledar direction.

The press service of the Russian Guard said that in the course of reconnaissance and search activities in the LPR, caches with weapons and ammunition were discovered.

In particular, a warehouse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was found in a forest area near Lisichansk, in which there were about 30 high-explosive fragmentation shells of various calibers and two anti-tank mines.

It is noted that the sappers of the Russian Guard destroyed the ammunition with an overhead charge in compliance with security measures.

In another settlement, the National Guard found and seized about 200 82-mm mines, as well as shots for a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher and high-explosive fragmentation shells.
