Quarantine authorities, including the National Health Commission of China, have decided to ease the mandatory quarantine measures for foreign arrivals from the 8th of next month.

Quarantine authorities have been quarantined for 8 days, including 5-day facility quarantine and 3-day self-quarantine, in the case of foreign arrivals.

However, from now on, we have decided to only conduct home quarantine or health monitoring for a certain period of time without going through a separate quarantine facility.

We also decided to eliminate PCR testing for all arrivals.

If the PCR test conducted within 48 hours of departure is negative, entry is allowed, and there is no problem without applying for a health code at the Chinese embassy or consulate in the departure country.

Along with this, the quarantine authorities decided to lower the infectious disease prevention measures against Corona from Class A to Class B, which had been maintained at the highest level.

As a result, from the 8th of next month, quarantine measures for corona infected people will disappear, and close contacts will not be judged.

China has adhered to the zero-corona policy of keeping the number of infected people close to 0 for nearly 3 years, but suddenly switched to with corona on the 7th after a blank protest.

Chinese President Xi Jinping ordered a new reorganization of prevention and control, saying, "People's life safety and health must be assured."
