The mayor of Loconville (Oise) has announced that he wants to open a file with the prefecture services after the attack on a 10-year-old child by dogs in his town on December 3.

The case was dismissed by the prosecution.

The city councilor, quoted by Actu Oise this Friday, however estimated that "the affair is not settled".

He asked the owners of the five American Bullies involved in the attack for animal profile information.

The mayor assured that the latter had undergone behavioral tests and that “a third test will have to be carried out in a few months to check if the dogs have calmed down”.

He also said that the mastiffs had been chipped, identified and checked by veterinarians.

The elected official said he was concerned about the safety of his constituents.

On the day of the events, the little boy had been seriously injured in the cheek and eyelid and also bitten on the legs, hands and face.

The attack took place at the home of a friend, where the child was playing.
