At the dawn of the 18th century, in the Caribbean Sea, forget your preconceived ideas according to which women were forbidden on boats or that pirates were all bloodthirsty!

In this episode of the "At the heart of History" podcast produced by Europe 1 Studio, Virginie Girod continues her story around the life of Anne Bonny, who now lives in Nassau, in the Bahamas, where she rubs shoulders with big names in the piracy like Blackbeard.

She ends up falling in love with a certain John Rackham and seeks to marry him as England plans to end the golden age of piracy.
