According to the inspection, in the Moscow region last month, 40% fewer cases of speeding by 20–40 km/h were detected compared to October, in the Sverdlovsk and Tyumen regions — by 60%.

Seasonal factors are considered among the possible causes, including precipitation, traffic jams and a general slowdown in traffic.

Earlier, the head of the main department of the Federal Bailiff Service for St. Petersburg, the city’s chief bailiff, internal service colonel Anna Lashkova said that bailiffs in St. Petersburg recovered almost 600 million rubles from traffic violations in 2022.
