As the head of the department for organizing the protection of the population of the city government, Natalia Egorova, said during a city planning meeting led by the head of Kaluga, Dmitry Denisov, the authorities have already refused to hold fireworks and are urging residents to do the same.

“We are not planning a city event - a fireworks display ... based on the fact that we are currently conducting a special military operation, and taking into account the requirements of the law, dear Kaluga residents, we strongly recommend that you do not use pyrotechnic products so that there is no panic so that there is no destabilization in our region, ”RIA Novosti quotes her.

The head of Kaluga supported this call and also recommended that the townspeople give up fireworks on New Year's Eve.

Earlier, Andrey Moiseev, executive secretary of the commission of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, in an interview with Izvestia, reminded residents of Moscow about the fines for launching fireworks on New Year's Eve.
