Foreign Ministry: the fate of the negotiations on Transnistria will become clear after the settlement in Ukraine

Moldova, Transnistria, the OSCE, Russia, Ukraine and observers from the US and the EU are participating in the 5 + 2 format.

According to him, it is premature to talk about contacts within this negotiation format.

“Obviously, his future will become clearer after the situation in Ukraine is resolved,” he said.

Earlier, the leader of the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky, appealed to the UN and the OSCE because of the crisis in relations with Chisinau and in connection with the threat of a humanitarian catastrophe.
