According to him, in the event of a successful referendum on independence, Scotland could enter the Russian sphere of influence.
He expressed confidence that in such a situation, British business would certainly leave Scotland.
“And when your economy is not protected, people like Putin will certainly try to help Scotland,” the expert added.
