La Rioja A man arrested after a woman fell from a second floor in a possible episode of sexist violence
The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a 69-year-old man in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda (Barcelona) this Monday as the alleged perpetrator of the death of his 88-year-old partner. The author, who allegedly used a knife, himself called the 112 at 06:45 this Monday.
The woman showed signs of violence, as reported by the regional police after accessing the couple's home, on
Avenida Mossèn Jacint Verdaguer
in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda.
It is the
eighth woman killed in Catalonia
due to domestic violence this year.
Several police teams have gone to the scene and have arrested the victim's partner as the alleged perpetrator of the death.
The Criminal Investigation Division of the Mossos d'Esquadra has taken over the investigation of this new case of sexist violence.
