Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon strongly criticized the controversy over the disclosure of photos and names of prosecutors in the Democratic Party's'Lee Jae-myung investigation', saying, "It is public instigation to use the power of the majority party to take coordinates of public officials who are legally performing public duties and 'turn around'."

On the morning of the 26th, on the way to work at the Ministry of Justice, Minister Han said, "This is a personal criminal matter for CEO Lee Jae-myeong," in response to a reporter's question about the matter.

At the same time, he emphasized, "To mobilize the official organization of the public party to take the coordinates of public officials who are legally performing their duties and openly incite them to be 'turned around' in order to avoid individual criminal problems is to undermine the rule of law."

Minister Han also pointed out, "That doesn't make existing criminal charges go away, nor does this country's judicial system stop."

Previously, regarding the disclosure of the list, the Democratic Party said, “There are about 60 prosecutors targeting Lee and about 90 prosecutors targeting former President Moon Jae-in, which totals more than 150 people. And the dark history of the prosecutors must be recorded."

Regarding this, a minister said, "Did the Democratic Party really say that 'history must be recorded'?" and "I agree in a different sense," he said.

When asked about the amnesty of former President Lee Myung-bak and former Governor Kim Gyeong-soo of South Gyeongsang Province, he avoided an immediate answer, saying, "The pardon is carried out in accordance with the law and procedures, and the decision to pardon is not mine."
