A court decision has been issued regarding the measures taken by the Ministry of National Defense Disciplinary Committee, which demoted Air Force Justice Office Chief Jeon Ik-soo from brigadier general to colonel, for mismanagement in the investigation into the death of Sergeant Lee Ye-ram of the Air Force.

As a result, Jeon Ik-soo, head of the Air Force's legal office, will hold a discharge ceremony the day after tomorrow (28th) while maintaining the original rank of brigadier general without being demoted to colonel.

According to the Ministry of National Defense, the Seoul Administrative Court today accepted and decided on a request for a temporary injunction to suspend the effect of disciplinary measures for demotion filed by Jeon Ik-soo, head of the Legal Office.

Suspension of disciplinary effect is known until 30 days after the verdict of the first instance of the suspension of effect filed by the former head of the department.
