“It’s right to cancel preferences for those who left the Russian Federation and introduce an increased tax rate for them,” Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.

He added that work is underway on appropriate changes in legislation.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev said that about 100 thousand Russian IT specialists are now outside the country, about 80% of them continue to work for Russia in friendly countries.

On December 14, the Ministry of Digital Development did not support the initiative to introduce a ban on remote work in Russian IT companies for specialists located in other countries at the legislative level.
