According to him, assistance to the energy sector of the country from partners is gaining momentum.
“We have declared assistance in the amount of almost $ 1.5 billion. Every day additional equipment arrives to repair damaged infrastructure,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
Shmyhal specified that more than 200 cargoes with energy equipment have already arrived in Ukraine.
Earlier, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Communal Services, Andriy Gerus, said that the Kyiv authorities are in the process of negotiations on the purchase of alternative energy generation systems.
