Prime Minister Kishida has entered into coordination to replace Reconstruction Minister Akiba within the year, as problems over political funds have become apparent one after another.

It seems that the aim is to prepare a system to smoothly proceed with the deliberations of the ordinary Diet session in January next year.

During the recent extraordinary session of the Diet, Reconstruction Minister Akiba said that two political groups he was affiliated with had paid approximately 14 million yen in rent to his mother and wife, who own an office in his hometown of Sendai. In addition, problems related to political funds have come to light one after another.

In response, the opposition parties have indicated that they will continue to strengthen their pursuit of this issue ahead of the convening of the ordinary Diet session in January next year, and even within the government and ruling parties, ``If this continues, we will not be able to make it through the long session of the ordinary Diet session.'' His voice was getting stronger.

Based on this situation, Prime Minister Kishida entered into coordination with the ruling party to replace Minister Akiba within the year.

It seems that Prime Minister Kishida intends to put in place a system that facilitates the smooth deliberations of the ordinary Diet by taking the decision to change ministers at this timing, when important issues for the year, including the drafting of the next fiscal year's budget, have reached a conclusion. .

In addition, the replacement of Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications Sugita Mio, who has been criticized within the government and ruling parties for remarks on sexual crimes and the issue of waiting nursery schools, is also being considered.
