According to investigators, on the night of December 24, a quarrel broke out between the victim and a 28-year-old local resident in a cafe located in the Leninsky district of Saransk.
Later in the day, a company of people arrived on Gagarin Street in order to further sort things out with the man, as a result of which a fight broke out, during which the victim was stabbed, from which he died at the scene.
“Investigators of the Investigative Committee, together with operational police officers, identified a suspect in the murder as soon as possible.
The man was detained, ”the UK added.
Earlier, a court in Moscow arrested a man for the murder of his wife, whose body was found in a car in the east of the city.
