Peruvian police disguised as Santa arrest a drug trafficker.

On the 20th local time, foreign media such as Peru TV and El Mundo reported that the police in Lima, Peru, disguised as Santa, shot down an organization.

In the released video, a group of police officers walk innocently through the streets until they reach the building where the drug trafficking ring resides.

Upon arriving at the building, one of the officers smashed the door in with a sledgehammer, followed by a raid and subdued the drug gang by the remaining officers.

Contrary to the friendly costumes of Santa Claus and elves, the police reacted strongly by shouting, "Everyone get down on the floor! It's the police!"

The police, who arrested four drug gangsters in this operation, explained, "Because it's Christmas, Santa walking around the streets doesn't attract much attention."

One of the arrested drug traffickers said, "At first, I thought someone was joking. I identified myself as a police officer, but I didn't know it was a real cop."

The Peruvian police's camouflage raid is a method that has been used for many years, including Christmas and Halloween, and even two years ago, the combination of Santa Claus and elves led the Peruvian police to arrest a drug trafficking organization that had finished preparing for distribution.

In the operation, conducted by special forces, Peruvian police confiscated 6,000 sticks of cocaine paste, 104 bags of cocaine powder and 279 cannabis.

Meanwhile, Peru is the world's largest producer of cocaine, along with Colombia and Bolivia.
