Under the circumstance that the epidemic prevention and control policy has been adjusted, in the face of the national examination with millions of references, how to realize the previously proposed goals of "scheduled examination", "responsible for all examinations" and "safe research examination"?

"One category, one policy" and "multiple measures", the optimized examination plan introduced this time is considered to not only facilitate candidates, but also provide new ideas for future related work under the new situation.

In this research and examination, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and other three departments to set up nucleic acid-negative examination rooms, nucleic acid-positive examination rooms, and emergency response examination rooms for sudden abnormal situations such as abnormal body temperature, etc., "one category, one policy" is adopted. "Group examination mode, classification of examination room test sites, for candidates who are positive for nucleic acid, formulate and organize the implementation of corresponding safeguards.

It is understood that the Beijing Education Examination Institute requires that all candidates who are required to undergo pre-examination antigen or nucleic acid testing must pass the "antigen or nucleic acid test results" of the "2023 Beijing Postgraduate Examination Candidate Information Collection System" before 12:00 noon on December 20. " module, fill in the antigen or nucleic acid test results within 24 hours.

Candidates must start from the 5th day before the test, carry out daily body temperature measurement, record and health monitoring, and fill in the "Health Commitment Form".

The test will start on the 24th. Candidates can only enter the test center after taking their body temperature with their test admission ticket, valid ID card held during the qualification review and the "Health Commitment Letter".

The Shanghai Education Examination Institute reminded candidates that the test sites will be rearranged based on the test results of the candidates’ nucleic acid tests on the morning of December 21, and the information of some candidates’ test sites may be adjusted. From the afternoon to the morning of the 23rd, relevant candidates will be notified through channels such as internal letters on the research and recruitment website.

Candidates whose nucleic acid results show positive will take the test in a special test room through a dedicated channel.

The Ministry of Education and other three departments require in the special deployment that candidates must wear medical surgical masks or above masks before entering the examination room, insist on personal protection after entering the examination room, and advocate wearing masks throughout the process.

Hubei, Beijing, Shandong and other provinces have made it clear that candidates should wear masks throughout the exam.

"Responsible for all exams" and "safe research" are the basic principles of the 2023 national postgraduate admissions examination. Considering the actual situation in various places and the concerns of relevant candidates, in order to help some candidates solve the actual difficulties in taking the exam, the Ministry of Education clearly proposed to allow Candidates "borrow exams".

In this regard, Xiong Bingqi, the dean of the 21st Century Education Research Institute and an educational scholar, said that the implementation of borrowing exams in different places provides this year's postgraduate students with a space for independent choice.

He pointed out that taking the postgraduate entrance examination in different places is not new.

Last year, due to the impact of the epidemic, Zhejiang provided more than 400 candidates to borrow exams from other places, and Shaanxi also provided exams to borrow exams from other places for candidates who were unable to take the exam across cities.

Xiong Bingqi also emphasized that the work pressure of borrowing exams from other places is obviously greater than before. Previously, borrowing exams from other places was only limited to candidates from medium and high-risk areas, but this year all candidates with practical difficulties are allowed.

Therefore, the scale of borrowing exams from other places should be relatively large, and relevant plans should be made in all regions, and sufficient examination rooms should be provided to arrange exams borrowing from other places.

Since the postgraduate entrance examinations are divided into unified propositions and school self-proposed questions, it is very difficult to arrange for borrowing exams from different places, and it is necessary to coordinate the examination room arrangement and test paper delivery.

However, from the perspective of convenience for candidates, this is the "optimal solution". Candidates do not need to rush for the "rush test", "students do not move, test papers move", which reduces the infection of candidates on the way to the test.

Some people suggest that if large-scale borrowing of exams from other places is successful, in the post-epidemic era, postgraduate entrance examinations can also be promoted from other places, and candidates will no longer be required to cross regions to rush for exams.

Xiong Bingqi agreed with this, "There are two basic principles for determining the location of the postgraduate entrance examination. One is how to facilitate the school to organize the examination and examine candidates, and the other is how to facilitate the candidates to take the exam. Expanding students' right to choose is the key to the reform of China's college entrance examination and postgraduate entrance examination. The underlying logic includes expanding the right to choose exams, and for postgraduate students, it can further expand the right to choose exam locations."

"In the past three years, multiple re-examinations such as China's graduate examinations, on-site re-examinations for postgraduate entrance examinations, cloud re-examinations, entrusting other colleges and universities for re-examinations, and off-site on-site re-examinations implemented by the admissions office are actively exploring to promote the reform of graduate examination admissions. The re-examination is more flexible, diverse, and easier to operate. The implementation of the postgraduate entrance examination borrowed from other places also provides a broader idea for organizing diverse postgraduate examinations in the future." Xiong Bingqi said.
