  When talking about the work of "customs clearance" with the mainland, Li Jiachao pointed out that the SAR government will promptly contact the National Health Commission, the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council, the Guangdong Provincial Government, and the Shenzhen Municipal Government to actively seek a consensus on "customs clearance" and submit a report central approval.

  Li Jiachao said that the formulation of the "customs clearance" plan must be gradual, orderly and comprehensive, and many elements need to be considered, including ensuring safety and order in the initial stage of "customs clearance". Ports, daily population, etc.; it is also necessary to take into account the changes in the epidemic situation and risk management in the two places, optimize measures, and formulate plans; try to achieve the most favorable balance.

  He announced the establishment of the "Customs Clearance Coordination Group", led by the Chief Secretary for Administration of the SAR Government, with members including 15 policy bureaus of the SAR Government, to comprehensively promote related work.
