Dozens of women demonstrate in Afghanistan to protest the ban on girls' education

Dozens of Afghan girls and women, who are mainly students, took to the streets in the western province of Herat today, Saturday, to protest against the "Taliban" movement banning women's education, chanting the slogan "Education is our right" and gathered in front of the provincial governor's office.

One of the demonstrators said that the "Taliban" forces tried to disperse them using water hoses, sticks and batons.
