The former head of Roskosmos, the head of the Tsarskie Wolves group of military advisers, Dmitry Rogozin, was transferred to one of the hospitals in the Moscow region.

According to his assistant, in the coming days, an operation will be carried out to remove a fragment stuck near the spine.

“Dmitry Olegovich has a penetrating wound - a metal fragment measuring 8 by 6 mm entered above the right shoulder blade near the spine.

Miraculously did not hurt the lung.

In addition, Dmitry Olegovich has a shell shock.

There are no other injuries, ”said Rogozin’s assistant, whose words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to him, together with the ex-head of Roskosmos, two military advisers, who were also injured, were taken to the hospital in the capital region.

Two more victims are in serious condition in the capital of the Donetsk People's Republic, the third was transported to a hospital in Rostov-on-Don.

The day before, Rogozin's son Alexei denied the publications of Telegram channels about the deterioration of his father's condition.

“The information that the condition of Dmitry Olegovich Rogozin is deteriorating is not true.

It is too early to talk about the condition of other victims who received shrapnel wounds.

Grids from anonymous channels publish a variety of false and speculative information, which we see neither the point nor the opportunity to comment on, ”he said.

In turn, Dmitry Rogozin himself, on December 23, in a conversation with TASS, indicated that he plans to return to Donbass.

“It’s a matter of honor to return,” he said.

“In the second half of January I plan to return to form.”

At the same time, on his page on the VKontakte social network, the ex-head of Roscosmos promised that the Kyiv regime would answer for his fallen comrades.

“The SBU claimed responsibility for this terrorist attack with an artillery raid on the hotel where we lived.

The cynicism of these people lies in the fact that they are preparing thorough terrorist attacks for some significant dates.

The Crimean bridge was blown up by October 7, they decided to liquidate me on my birthday, wherever I was.

Tracking, hunting.

But I want to say that I will not remain in debt.

They will answer for my comrades,” he wrote.

Recall that on the evening of December 21 in the Leninsky district of Donetsk, the Shesh-Besh hotel came under fire, in which the former head of Roskosmos, DPR Prime Minister Vitaly Khotsenko and State Duma deputy Alexei Zhuravlev were staying.

As a result of the shelling, two people were killed and several others were injured.

As Rogozin said in a conversation with RT, the shelling took place at about 20:00 on December 21.

On this day he turned 59 years old.

“Someone leaked information - and around 19:45 there were several high-precision hits, including in the place where we were directly located.

They beat me with a caliber of 120 or 155 mm.

The investigation will determine where and who," he said.

Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin called the incident another war crime of the Kyiv regime.

“Strike on a civilian object.

The fact that Rogozin and Khotsenko ended up there ... But, unfortunately, no one in Donetsk is immune from such shelling, ”RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

In turn, the Kremlin expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

“We, of course, first of all condole with the families and friends of the victims, wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured,” said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.

He also recalled that staying in some areas of the DPR and LPR is still dangerous and carries great risks, including for life, but this does not mean that such conditions should prevent people from fulfilling their work missions.

“Look, there are official business trips.

And it is absolutely normal that officials visit Russian regions and will continue to visit, especially regions that require special attention now, during the transition period, during their integration, adaptation to the entire life of our large country.

And officials are obliged to go there in large numbers,” he added.
