On December 16, it became known that the Russian Ministry of Justice entered five individuals and three organizations into the register of foreign agents.

It was also reported that Roskomnadzor drew up more than 130 protocols against foreign media agents.

In October 2021, the General Prosecutor’s Office of Russia considered the application of lawyer Ilya Remeslo with a request to send a request to the US authorities and find out on what basis the FBK* clone was registered - Anti-Corruption Foundation, Inc.

The department noted that in response to the appeal, an audit is being carried out.

* The organization was recognized as extremist, its activities are prohibited on the territory of Russia by the decision of the Moscow City Court dated 06/09/2021.
