“Fighter aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the area of the settlement of Orekhovo-Vasilevka of the Donetsk People's Republic shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force,” the message says.
The Ministry of Defense also noted that a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was shot down near Kramatorsk in the DPR.
The day before, Russian fighters shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft and one Mi-8 helicopter in a day.
