Today (23rd), five days after North Korea launched a medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) for the purpose of testing a reconnaissance satellite, it launched another ballistic missile into the East Sea.

The military is analyzing specifications such as flight distance, altitude, and speed.

On the 18th, North Korea fired two MRMBs at high angles from Dongchang-ri, South Hamgyong Province, into the East Sea, the Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

However, the next day, North Korea announced that it had launched a reconnaissance satellite test carrier from the Sohae Satellite Launching Station to develop a reconnaissance satellite, and conducted space environment tests, control tests, and data transmission and reception tests.

Photos of rockets and satellite photos of Seoul and satellites were also released.

It also announced that it would complete preparations for a reconnaissance satellite by April next year.

North Korea has fired 67 ballistic missiles 38 times (based on location and time) and launched cruise missiles 3 times this year.
