With our regional correspondent,

In the memorandum, the release of the 46 Ivorian soldiers is recorded.

It is even the preamble to the text co-signed by the Malian Ivorian parties.

The same document records the strengthening of relations between the two countries, which make another commitment: not to serve as a rear base to destabilize the neighbor.

The other point contained in the memorandum, Malians and Ivorians are more than ever two lungs of the same body, and the leaders at the top of the two States undertake to defend their common interests, but also those of the neighbor.

But the file has a legal aspect since there is an action in progress.

It is now a question of accelerating the procedure and while respecting the separation of powers, moving towards the direction of appeasement of the outcome.

Our interlocutors recall, for example, that initially, the Ivorian soldiers arrested numbered 49, but that the three female soldiers in the group have since been released on humanitarian grounds.

Next week, all eyes will be on Malian justice.
