“In their composition, armored and self-propelled mine-clearing installations, engineering clearing vehicles, as well as multi-purpose lightly armored tractors of Soviet and Western production were identified,” he said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

On the eve of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that in this direction, Russian artillery hit units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Sergeevka (LPR) and Terny (DPR).

During the day, enemy losses exceeded 20 people killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles and three pickup trucks were destroyed.

Artyomovsk

Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are equipping firing points on the roofs of residential buildings in Artyomovsk for the operation of air defense systems, Andrey Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR, said, citing intelligence data.

“Air defense observation posts with MANPADS crews are being installed on the roofs of high-rise buildings.

Additional field hospitals are deployed in the basement.

Shelling of the DPR

In total, over the past day, the territory of the DPR was shelled 64 times by the Ukrainian military, who fired 297 units of various ammunition from 155, 152 and 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars, as well as MLRS.

“13 housing constructions were damaged in the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, the Central City district of Gorlovka, Aleksandrovka and Lugansk, the Central City and Gornyatsky districts of Makeevka, as well as two civilian infrastructure facilities,” the official information summary of the DPR JCCC says.

Cache of saboteurs in the LPR

Two caches with ammunition for saboteurs of the Ukrainian armed formations were discovered by Russian special services in the village of Svetlichnoye in the Lugansk People's Republic, a RIA Novosti source reports.
