Foreign Minister Hayashi will visit Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, and Argentina in Latin America and the United States for 12 days from January 4 next year.



In Latin America, I will meet with the foreign ministers of each country to exchange opinions on bilateral cooperation and strengthening economic security.



In addition, in the United States, Japan will become a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for two years from next year, and will serve as the chair country in January. It means hosting.



Minister Hayashi said, "While the Security Council has not been able to effectively respond to Russia's aggression against Ukraine, we will actively contribute to the Security Council fulfilling its original responsibilities through close dialogue with each country, and promote the establishment of an international order based on the rule of law. We want to strengthen it," he said.
