• Politics Podemos denies King Felipe VI "democratic legitimacy" and demands that he not talk about the institutional crisis in his Christmas message

The

Ministry of Equality

has launched this Friday through its social networks the

Charo

campaign with which it encourages to celebrate "co-responsible" Christmas parties so that mothers and grandmothers are not in charge of all the preparations.

The campaign, carried out by

Ogilvy Madrid

, is presented humorously and invites us to reflect on what it means for many women to take care of all the preparations for Christmas.

Likewise, it wants to be a tribute to all the mothers and grandmothers who make the festivities possible every year.

"This Christmas, let's not leave everything to them. Apart from being happy, they are also jointly responsible. Happy holidays", closes the spot.

The campaign is part of

the Corresponsibles Plan

, a new public policy that the Ministry of Equality is promoting with the autonomous communities and autonomous cities, to create and consolidate a public system of co-responsible care, thus favoring work-life balance, while that encourages job creation.

The Minister for Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda, Ione Belarra, has echoed the Equality campaign and has shared the video along with a message in which she adds to the desire for "co-responsible" parties.

"Charo is a little up to the pussy of doing everything at Christmas Eve dinner. Here's to happy holidays and also co-responsible ones," Belarra stressed in a tweet.
