Some took the plane, others the train or the car.

For the holidays, everyone has their own means of transport to spend the holidays with the family.

But for motorists, it will be necessary to be vigilant because of the police checks which promise to be more numerous than usual.

The roads of France taken by storm with the SNCF strike?

This year, there should be more users on the roads due to the cancellation of many trains.

If the car is an alternative, it will however be necessary for motorists to be vigilant... in the face of road checks.

Checks are in particular planned at the gates of the ring road, on the main axes and at the Ile-de-France tolls.

According to our information, 564 police officers will be dispatched to 124 checkpoints in the Paris region.

Last week, a similar device was deployed.

Thus, 929 offenses had been noted by the police, including 31 offences, mainly for consumption of alcohol, narcotics or lack of license and insurance.

The A10, A6 and A13 particularly affected

This Friday, vacation departures will be combined with the usual work-home flows.

To this must therefore be added private train users.

Traffic should therefore be particularly dense around metropolitan areas, and this from 10 a.m. in Île-de-France, warns Bison Futé.

A peak of traffic jams is expected between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the direction of departures.

The A10, A6 and A13 motorways should especially be impacted.

And on Monday, the difficulties in the direction of returns could appear from mid-morning and extend until early evening.
