In three constituent entities of the Russian Federation, criminal activities to assist the SBU and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been suppressed, the Center for Public Relations of the FSB reports.

“The Federal Security Service on the territory of a number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation suppressed the criminal activities of citizens of Russia and Ukraine who assisted the Security Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.

It is noted that operational-search activities were carried out in the Perm Territory, the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Rostov Region.

So, in the Perm Territory, an undercover group of the SBU was exposed, which included citizens of the Russian Federation Dmitry Strelkov, Mikhail Sokolov and Alexei Gashev.

Their tasks were "preparation, conduct of terrorist attacks and sabotage on the territory of Russia."

“These persons, acting on instructions from the SBU, carried out preparations for the commission of terrorist attacks and sabotage against socially significant objects and infrastructure of the city of Perm, and also provided other assistance to the Ukrainian special service in order to destabilize the socio-political situation in the region,” the FSB reported.

It is also noted that Strelkov was put on the All-Russian, federal and interstate wanted list.

Valery Kachin, suspected of committing high treason in the form of espionage in the interests of the SBU, was detained in Birobidzhan.

He tried to leave the region and fly abroad for permanent residence and acquisition of Ukrainian citizenship, as well as joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the FSB, a 35-year-old man, on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, collected and transmitted information constituting a state secret about critical infrastructure facilities in the Jewish Autonomous Region.

It is indicated that the detainee was aware that this information could be used against the security of the Russian Federation.

In the Rostov region, the illegal activities of a resident of the Volgograd region, Yevgeny Nikiforov, who intended to take part in military operations on the territory of Ukraine against Russian troops, were stopped.

During the detention, a signed questionnaire and an application for concluding a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a “Gorka” (taslan) suit, and mobile phones used to communicate with subscribers in Ukraine were confiscated from him.
