The smart mobility project in Yas and Saadiyat Islands includes, so far, a fleet of 17 vehicles, including (8) self-driving vehicles under the trademark / TXAI /, and represents the first self-driving taxis in the UAE, and it was launched last November, and a service Six (6) self-driving mini-Robobuses, in addition to operating (15) charging stations on Yas and Saadiyat islands.

The mass transit system - (ART) will operate on Yas Island, which is a rapid transit system that operates without rails for mass transit, while the new route for self-driving taxis on Saadiyat Island includes a number of stations, which are Saadiyat Walk, Al Manarat, and NYU Abu Dhabi. , St. Regis Hotel, Saadiyat Beach, Theodore Monod International French High School, Jumeirah, Saadiyat Beach Residences, and Louvre Museum - Abu Dhabi.

The length of the route is 47.5 km, and the service operates from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, throughout the week.

As for the mass transit system - (ART) in its first phase, it provides its services between the main tourist and commercial attractions on Yas Island.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport confirmed that this project forms part of the smart mobility strategy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as it supports the process of transformation towards smart and sustainable transport based on knowledge and innovative solutions, and enhances efforts to develop future cities and achieve sustainable development in the emirate.
