He is suspected of having sexually assaulted two patients hospitalized at the Purpan University Hospital in Toulouse.
A 29-year-old man was arrested Friday morning in the establishment and taken into custody.
The individual, already known to the police, was leaving a patient's room, sex in the air, when he was arrested.
He would have previously entered the room of another patient whom he would also have assaulted.
Investigation opened for facts with a sexual connotation
The man was "put to flight by the cries of a hospitalized person" and is suspected "at least of sexual exhibition", specified the Toulouse prosecutor's office, which opened an investigation for facts with a sexual connotation.
The suspect was initially intercepted by hospital security services, before being handed over to law enforcement.
