Ukrainian President Zelensky enters the White House.

Unlike when he first came in 2019, he came to the White House in combat uniform.

It came to the United States as if it were operating on a US Air Force plane and escorted by fighter jets while the Russian attack continued.

[Volodimir Zelensky/President of Ukraine: I would like to convey the gratitude of the Ukrainian people to all Americans.]

At the summit that followed, President Biden unpacked a large package of support.

He promised additional aid worth 2.3 trillion won, including Patriot missiles capable of long-range interception of Russian missiles.

As a single support, it is the largest ever.

“As long as the war continues, Russia will not win,” he said.

[Joe Biden/President of the United States: Just as we were not alone, you will not be alone as long as Ukraine's freedom is threatened.

The United States will not hesitate to support Ukraine.]

President Zelensky also delivered a Ukrainian flag signed by soldiers in a joint address to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, appealing for bipartisan support.

[Volodimir Zelensky/President of Ukraine: Ukrainian soldiers asked us to deliver this flag to the US Congress, which can make decisions that will save millions of lives.]

The US Congress handed over the Stars and Stripes and responded with a standing ovation.

American media evaluated that this visit was similar to former British Prime Minister Churchill's visit to the United States during World War II to appeal for allied support.
