Russian media announced that the pro-Russian Prime Minister of Donetsk, Vitaly Khutsenko, and the former head of the Russian Space Agency, "Ross-Cosmos", Dmitry Rogozin, were injured in a Ukrainian bombing of a restaurant south of Donetsk, eastern Ukraine.

Russian media quoted Rogozin as saying that he was undergoing treatment after being hit by shrapnel in the back, and that his condition was stable.

The sources added that a number of senior Russian and pro-Moscow officials in Donetsk were celebrating Dmitry Rogozin's birthday in a restaurant located in the Leninsky district, south of the city, before it was bombed.

Local media in Donetsk indicated that the bombing killed two people and wounded six others, including employees of the restaurant.
