Near the end of the year, its manager, Hong Kong youth Wang Zhongyou, is busy in the recording studio, and a new rap album is about to be completed.
A reporter from Chinanews recently visited this music studio and chatted with Wang Zhongyou about his music life in the mainland.
"This studio was established in September 2018 by four of our Jinan University classmates." Wang Zhongyou introduced that their team was founded by young people from Hong Kong and Taiwan and alumni from Africa. It has 18 members since its establishment. Including operators, music producers, photographers, rappers, etc.

Wang Zhongyou, born in 1996, started composing popular original songs at the age of 16. He formed a band at the age of 18. After entering Jinan University, he came into contact with rap music, and it has been out of control ever since.
He said: "The reason why I like rap music is very simple. In addition to loving music, the form of rap performance is very cool, and the feeling on stage is very good."
In order to continuously improve his rap music strength, Wang Zhongyou participated in various competitions during his studies in the Mainland. What impressed him most was representing Jinan University in the 12th Cross-Strait University Campus Singer Invitational Competition.
"The important thing is that in those few days we were there, there were so many young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong, Macau and other places. Everyone got together, and some of them are still very good friends. This experience is very good for me." Wang Zhongyou With emotion, participating in the competition can contact music talents from all over the world, which is conducive to music creation.
Listening to Wang Zhongyou's songs, his rap music includes Mandarin, English, and Cantonese, with rich forms of expression, which are closely related to his childhood growth experience.
According to Wang Zhongyou, he was born and raised in Hong Kong since he was a child. His mother sang folk music, and his sister had a band singing jazz and blues.
Because of his father's business, he often changed schools in his childhood.
"In addition to Hong Kong, I have studied in Cambodia, Chongqing, Shenzhen, and Zhongshan." Wang Zhongyou believes that different places, different languages and cultures have created the richness of his music.
In 2018, Wang Zhongyou won the top ten Chinese New Rap Guangzhou Universities and participated in the finals of "China New Rap".
Wang Zhongyou recalled that the show was recorded in Beijing at that time, and outstanding rappers from all over the country gathered together, lived in the same hotel, and shared a dressing room. The exchange between music is still unforgettable for him.

"My rap music must be a real story about myself, something I want to tell you." Wang Zhongyou introduced the background of the creation of "Where RU". Many rap champions, but in the audition process of some music programs in the Mainland, they failed to advance and achieved good results.
Wang Zhongyou thought about his music and studio during that low time.
"In the mainland, rappers from Sichuan, Chongqing, and Hunan are very strong. What about Cantonese rap?" Wang Zhongyou believes that rap music must have its own characteristics in order to go further.
In recent years, Wang Zhongyou has created a large amount of Cantonese rap music, which incorporates the content of Cantonese culture.
"I think the mainland music market is bigger and there are many opportunities," he said.
According to Wang Zhongyou, in the past few years, his performance activities have expanded from the Pearl River Delta to the whole of Guangdong.
