Chinanews.com, Zhuhai, December 21 (Deng Yuanwen and Liu Wen) On the 21st, the gate customs of Gongbei Customs successfully completed the customs filing procedures for the first "Australian car going north" vehicle.

Vehicles that have been registered can enter Guangdong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Zhuhai Highway Port as soon as January 1, 2023.

It is understood that the customs has integrated the vehicle filing procedures into the overall application process of "Australian Vehicles Going Northward", realizing the paperless and online processing of the whole process.

"In the customs approval process, from receiving the record data, reviewing the data to completing the customs record, the whole process only takes about 10 minutes, and the vehicle owner does not need to go to the customs window to go through the relevant procedures, which maximizes the convenience of the vehicle owner." Gate Customs Vehicle Management Section chief Zhao Shihui introduced.

According to reports, Gongbei Customs actively supports the introduction of the guarantee-free policy. In accordance with the State Council’s reply on agreeing to temporarily adjust the implementation of relevant administrative regulations in Guangdong Province, and in accordance with the work deployment of the General Administration of Customs, the guarantee-free policy will be implemented for qualified motor vehicles entering and leaving the mainland.

This measure has greatly reduced the cost of hosting the "Macau Cars Northward", and provided maximum convenience for Macao residents to study, work, start a business, and live in the Mainland.
