In Piteå's old quarter in the center, Christmas music pours out of the speakers and strings of lights with thousands of lamps and live fires illuminate the courtyard.

When SVT is on site, children run around and play, talk to Santa and grill.

Christmas is approaching here.

- Santa is very important to the children at Christmas time and this is the second time he has visited us, says Lisa Hellmér, who runs the Boarding House.

The idea is for the conservatory to function as an oasis where the soul can rest in the midst of Christmas stress.

Reindeer skins adorn cold benches and hot mulled wine is served when the cold bites the cheeks.

- It is absolutely wonderful to be here, warming up by the fire and talking to the children.

This is the children's holiday, says Santa, whose real name is Lennart Roslin.

In the clip, you get to meet Selma and Idde, who took the opportunity to meet Santa in the dreamy winter garden.
