A municipal police officer was condemned Thursday by the court of Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis).
Found guilty of violence with weapons, he received a four-month suspended prison sentence.

That day, the two colleagues argued in the kitchen of the police station.
The defendant refused to transport the victim, considering that he was not “his taxi”.
But after various invectives, the situation degenerated.
The municipal policeman grabbed a chopper and raised his arm to hit his colleague.
But other officials managed to stop him.
During the hearing, the defendant affirmed that he "didn't want to do any harm".
“He insulted my mother and I didn't accept.
I grabbed the first object I came across, but I was not planning to attack it with it,” he said.
Suspended after the fact, the man will be able to recover his position within the municipal police of Stains.
Justice has not issued a professional ban on him.
