Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced plans to deploy a new type of ICBM, an intercontinental ballistic missile, that can carry multiple nuclear warheads.



It seems that the aim is to check NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization, such as the United States, which continues to provide military support to Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a speech at a meeting of the Ministry of Defense in Moscow on the 21st, stating, "We will maintain and improve our strategic nuclear combat posture. It will serve as a guarantee for maintaining the balance of power," he said, emphasizing that he is promoting the improvement of nuclear forces.



In addition, he said, ``In the near future, the intercontinental ballistic missile 'Sarmat' will be deployed for the first time,'' and clarified the idea of ​​deploying a new ICBM = intercontinental ballistic missile that can carry multiple nuclear warheads.



He also announced that next month he will deploy a sea-launched hypersonic missile "Zircon" on a frigate and deploy it in combat.
