Elon Musk announced his resignation from the position of CEO at the end of the struggle after the acquisition of Twitter.

Musk posted a post on Twitter that day, saying, "I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take over."

"From now on, I will only be responsible for running the software and server divisions," he added.

Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, has caused noise and conflict with mass layoffs and unilateral account deletions since taking over Twitter last October.

In the aftermath, the 'Musk risk' amplified in the stock market, and Tesla's stock price plummeted.

Then, on the 19th, Musk suddenly posted a vote on Twitter asking whether to resign as CEO, and 57.5% of the total of 17,502,391 respondents voted in favor.
