  According to reports, members of the National Affairs Investigation Special Committee have successively visited the scene of the Yongsan Itaewon stampede accident, the Itaewon Police Station, the Seoul Police Agency, and the Seoul Special City Hall for the first on-site investigation starting from the morning of the 21st.

  The special committee will go to the Yongsan District Office and the Ministry of Administration and Security for the second on-site investigation on the 23rd.

Next week, reports from agencies from the Prime Minister's Office and the State Affairs Office of the President's Office will be heard.

  There will be three hearings in the first week of January 2023.

Eighty-nine people, including Minister of Administration and Security Lee Sang-min, Director of the National Police Agency Yoon Hee-geun, and Director of the Office of State Affairs of the Presidential Office Han Oh-seop, will attend the hearing as witnesses.
