The Greek Army General Staff said that two Turkish fighter jets flew over uninhabited Greek islands in the eastern Aegean Sea today, Wednesday.

These include the three islands, Agathonisi, Archi and Lepsou, which have a total population of about 1,000 people.

F-16s flew over these islands, and other uninhabited islands, at an altitude of about 9,000 metres.

Greek fighters intercepted the two Turkish planes, according to a report broadcast by the state-run ERT channel.
