• Politics The CIS of Tezanos reflects a fall of the PSOE of two points after the reform of the crimes of sedition and embezzlement

  • PP Feijóo intensifies the judicial process "to weaken" Sánchez and Vox: "We have broken them"

Face to face between the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, to crown a week of maximum institutional tension after the Constitutional Court decided to protect the PP and ordered the withdrawal of the reform of the law of the Judiciary and of the Constitutional Court itself that the Executive tried to strain via amendment in the reform of the Penal Code.

The dialectical clash between the two leaders has followed well-known lines.

The

popular

accuses the president of breaking all his electoral promises and "having learned the manual of independence very well."

The socialist accuses the leader of the PP of having achieved "a milestone" in the nine months that he has been in Madrid: "Musing the General Coretes."

And to do it, he added, shooting at the Constitutional Court "accompanied by powers that are less and less hidden, that cover them, that direct them and that have managed to take away from Parliament the power to debate, vote and legislate."

The President of the Government has also warned Feijóo that despite his claim to silence Congress and the Senate, Parliament "will speak loud and clear."

In this way he was referring to his intention to resubmit in the Lower House through his parliamentary groups a bill to modify the method of electing the magistrates of the Constitutional Court.

Feijóo has asked Sánchez if he intends to continue legislating to favor his secessionist partners.

It was a rhetorical question because he himself has answered: "Yes, he is going to do it."

And to support this argument, he has recalled all the promises that Sánchez made in the electoral campaign and that he has later radically failed to fulfill: not making governability fall to the independentistas, not pardoning those convicted of the

process

, not repealing sedition, hardening embezzlement or recover the crime of illegally calling a referendum.

"What will be your next transfer? What will be the last breach? Do you already have a date to hold a consultation? Will you continue hand in hand with the independence movement or will you ever go over to constitutionalism?" Feijóo asked, who has issued a warning to Sánchez: "Do not believe that all the voters of the PSOE are going to follow you, they are not going to believe that the right is coming."

And he added: "Mr. Pedro Sánchez of 2019 would not vote for Mr. Pedro Sánchez Castejón of 2022, he would not vote for him."

Sánchez in his reply has chosen to blame the PP for having allowed the holding of two illegal referendums in Catalonia and a declaration of independence and has recalled that he is president of the Government with the vote of the Spanish.

For Feijóo it is evident that everyone who disagrees with the president "attacks democracy" and has urged him to "stop provoking, discrediting the TC and teasing the Spanish."

"There is not a single European minister who speaks like you, except two", said the popular leader, referring to the attacks on Justice by the Prime Ministers of Poland and Hungary.

The president of the popular has also stressed that "nobody questions" the electoral victory of Sánchez because for that, only the president of the Government is enough, doing just the opposite of what he promised.

"You have stepped on the accelerator of institutional degradation. Your government goes from fire to fire but the constitutional architecture of Spain cannot be reduced to ashes. Eliminating sedition does not improve the territorial integrity of the country, reducing embezzlement does not improve the fight against corruption and sneaking a reform of the Constitution through the back door does not improve democracy", Feijóo assured for whom there is no doubt that Sánchez wants to "impose his personal interest and seeks the submission of the powers of the State.

The leader of the PP has extended his hand to the President of the Government if he decides to "return to what he promised".

"If you want, we can meet again because we agreed before the elections," he said.

For this reason, he added: "If you want us to speak for real, call an election and we will speak without limits. Reconsider. You have the possibility of returning to the Constitution and I am here for it. We are with an outstretched hand. Mr. Pedro Sánchez of 2019 I would not vote for Pedro Sánchez in 2022", he has settled.

The President of the Government has reproached the PP for calling for early elections when it does not win at the polls, for demanding that the CGPJ members appointed by the popular supporters be for life and that their related TC magistrates have an imperishable mandate.

BARBANCHO

"You have come very far, further than your predecessor", he said, but "all your strategies are crumbling and all that remains is for you to prove the fable of the tyrant who wants to establish the Bolivarian republic in Spain".

Sánchez has closed the debate by pointing out that what is really being resolved is to consolidate or cut rights.

Obviously the PSOE is in the first and the PP in the second.

And he has issued one last warning to Feijóo: "He is not going to get away with it. We are not going to allow it. He has gone too far. He has won a few weeks but has lost the little credit he had."
