The bakery in the town of Hermes, located near Beauvais (Oise), was the victim of an armed robbery last Saturday.

Around 5:30 p.m., a man entered the establishment after taking care to conceal his face with a hood.

He was carrying a handgun, reports Actu Oise.

The man would have been very threatening inside the shop, especially towards the manager who was behind the counter.

He would have ordered him to give him the sum of 400 euros before fleeing.

An investigation has been opened.

In charge of the investigations, the gendarmes went to the site the day after the events to consult the CCTV images.

But for now, the robber has not yet been identified.

The soldiers have decided to launch an appeal for witnesses.

The wanted suspect is a European type man.

He is slim, about 1m80 tall and about 20 years old.

On the day of the robbery, he was armed with a pistol and dressed in black.

Anyone likely to have information is invited to contact the gendarmerie at 03.44.26.00.17.
